Many initiatory systems use doorways as tools to signal the psyche that a change is occurring. You are taught to “become the door” in order to pass through it.

As seen in the Anatomy chapter, some Egyptian temples are exact replicas of the human brain or other parts of the anatomy, and specific rites were conducted in each area to affect specific aspects of the body or consciousness.

The golden mean or ratio of 1-1.618 is a mathematical proportion said to create the most pleasing shapes in nature and has been used for aeons in architecture.

Sacred architecture is often said to replicate the energetic shape of the resident spirit; some psychics “see” the construction of a colorful form during religious services. Minarets, onion domes, cross-shaped cathedrals, and nested enclosures (inner sanctums, holy of holies) are all said to reflect these spiritual forms.
